Any business owner worth their salt will tell you that feedback is a precious gift.
When we don’t complain (constructively of course) about bad service, rude staff and terrible experiences, our silence validates their behaviour. We’re unable to course-correct. Also, your teams need to be coached/ trained in how to receive feedback too. This is a critical step. The wrong culture buries ‘gifts’ such as these.
Next time you experience bad service, please tell the owners/ leadership teams. They might be having sleepless nights and your insight might just be the ‘unlock’ that the business needs in order to win (and retain) more customers.
